For the third time in the school year, the Buffalo Cross Country team met at Gale Woods Farm in Minnetrista, this time to race the MSHSL Section 6AAA Championships. The Buffalo Bison (3-5) kicked off the first round of section playoffs against the Park Center Pirates (4-4), putting up a fight in their final game of the season. Recently the Coyotes, the joint adapted soccer team for Buffalo, St. Michael-Albertville, and Monticello, went against the St. Cloud Crush on October 1 and won 5-1, later tying against them with a final score of 3-3 in last Thursday’s game, October 22. The Bison Boys Soccer team defeated the Alexandria Cardinals at home on Monday, October 5. The Bison offence was led by Stone Hoel ‘27, who finished the game with a hat trick. In 2025, the Buffalo Cross Country team did not host their own meet. This year, the Bison decided otherwise. The BHS and BCMS Cross Country teams have returned to Buffalo Heights to host their own Cross Country Invitational.
