Zion Lutheran Church Youth Group hosted their yearly Sinister Hallows scare trail on October 23 and 24 in the woods behind the Church. Sinister Hallows is a yearly Halloween event that is set up by the church’s youth program and operated by volunteers, typically drawing from the BHS & BCMS theater and NHS programs.
“Sinister Hallows is a super fun event put on by Zion, and BHS theater gets to be a part of it!” Theater Leadership Secretary Lily Kinches ’27 said. “We get to be scare actors, and we usually get to choose what we want to be. I love to help coordinate between Zion and the theater department and participate in such a fun event!”
On both nights, the trail opened at roughly 7pm, and lasted until 10pm. Groups were invited to come and walk the trail, see the pre-set exhibits, and enjoy a small get-together following the end of the path.
With the conclusion of this event, many students are looking forward to the events and plans of this weekend: Halloween tomorrow, October 31.
