Bison Boys Soccer Conquers the Royals

BHS boys soccer teams won all three games on Teacher Appreciation Night

The Bison Boys Soccer team defeated the Rogers Royals at home on Tuesday.  The 6-3 win, on a wet grass following a rainy afternoon, was the Bison’s first game since Homecoming Week.

The Bison started off the varsity game with a goal from Owen Seestrom ‘27 three minutes into the first half which was followed up by a goal from Cade Nissen ‘27 14 minutes in. This created a commanding lead that was maintained throughout the whole game.

After that, the Bison’s lead never dropped below two points; the first half ended 3-0 after an additional goal from Guthrie Lind ‘27.

Tuesday’s game was also  teacher appreciation night, with several teachers being invited by the players to come watch the game.

The first half started with a goal from Kai Williams ‘27 making the score 4-0, but that was followed up by two goals from the Royals.. This back and forth continued when Seestrom scored another goal to make it 5-2. The Royals returned the favor with a goal of their own to make it 5-3. 

The game ended with Williams scoring a goal in the last minute to make the final score 6-3. The Junior Varsity game ended 4-1 and the 9A game ended 1-0 to have all three Bison Boys Soccer teams beat the Royals in one day.
