Today (09/24) is class color day at BHS, meaning that this morning was the Senior Stampede for the 2027 graduating class.
The Senior Stampede is an annual homecoming ritual created at Buffalo High School that typically begins early in the day and ends after the start of 1st hour. At 8:00 this morning, seniors met at the rock to take pictures, socialize, and show off their outfits created for the dress-up day – an especially appreciated and important part of the event.
After meeting up at the rock, the seniors then progressed inside the school, marching through the hallways while participating in chants led by members of the homecoming court.
After roughly 10 minutes of walking, the parade ended in the front atrium, where the court proceeded to lead the class of 2027 in one final chant to conclude the tradition.
With another year at BHS, the Senior Stampede continues to be a staple of homecoming week for many – seniors and their preceding graduates alike.
