Special Olympics bowling at Buffalo does well in area meets and regionals every year, and this year is no exception. On Thursday October 29th at the Willmar Golfcourse 14 cross country teams gathered to start off there sections race which included a 5K(3.1 miles) run.The Buffalo Bison Boys team ended up taking 4th overall and the Girls ended up taking 3rd overall. The last few weeks have been extremely successful for the boys Varsity Football team. Ending their conference play with a record of seven wins and only one loss the team will advance to Section play-offs. The Cross Country team headed to Monticello to race for the Mississippi 8 Conference Title. The girls came 8 points short to host Monticello. Buffalo had a score of 49 and Monticello had a score of 41. The boys second place score was 54 and the champions finished with 51 points (Cambridge Isanti). The girls Varsity soccer team played their last game of the season yesterday in Brainerd. It was the 2nd round of sections. They had previously beat St. Cloud Tech 3-0 in the opening round. They ended up falling short to Brainerd 2-0. Their regular season was wrapped up two weeks ago with two conference games. The first was scheduled on Tuesday against Monticello but because of weather the game got moved to Wednesday at 4:30. …

The Bison Cross Country team headed to Litchfield on Thursday, October 8th, and competed in a 14 team meet. The varsity team dominated with 54 points and the following team (New London Spicer Girls) had 105 points. The junior varsity girls won also with 42 points and the following team (Mound-Westonka) had 83. On the boys side the varsity placed 5th with 144 points.
