With a new name and the debut of full-color pages, UniVerse, the literary arts magazine of BHS, launched on Wednesday after school. Recently, the Varsity golf boys had a meet in Annandale at Southbrook Golf Club. The boys captured the win behind Juniors River Goodmanson and Nate Persson, along with Sophomores Walter Ylitalo and Joe Carothers. After taking the ACT just this past month on April 24th, being at the school from 8:50 in the morning, then leaving at 1:30 in the afternoon, and the only time off from testing is a 15 minute break after the second test. Hoping to get an answer for his chronic headaches, Blake Trout ‘21 went to get an MRI. When the results came back, they were worse than anyone could have imagined. The scan revealed a golf-ball sized brain tumor causing his severe pain, which he later would refuse to let define him.
