Today (09/25) is the last day of homecoming week at Buffalo High School, meaning students are enjoying the final dress-up day–officially finalizing their homecoming plans and making preparations for all of the activities that will happen this weekend.
The end of homecoming wouldn’t be complete without something to sum it up; to truly wrap up the spectacular week, a pep fest was held this afternoon during BASE time.
The rally took place in the West Gym and took roughly 30 minutes to complete. The time was packed with an assortment of different activities, including homecoming court introductions, fun challenges, and even a crowd-engaging game.
The gathering ended with one final group-wide chant, further energizing the school for the fun events that have yet to come this weekend.
“This [pep fest] is like an accumulation of the week,” Activities Director Nick Guida commented on the matter. “We’ve got probably 1,700 students in here, all cheering for each other and having a good time–a little break in the middle of the day, and lots of Bison pride.”
With this pep fest being a notable end to conclude the homecoming week, students are now looking to what’s next: tonight’s homecoming game and fun night, and tomorrow’s big dance at 7:00 pm.
