Dominant second half gives Bison Football a big win against Robbinsdale-Cooper
A strong showing on defense held the Hawks to just six points.

The Bison Football Team bounced back from a Week 1 loss with a huge 24-6 victory against the Robbinsdale-Cooper Hawks. The Bison student body was dressed in pink, supporting the team on Tackle Cancer night.
The first quarter featured amazing plays by Wide Receiver Matthew Jordan ‘27, who gained a first down on an amazing interception by stealing the ball from the Hawks, giving the Bison momentum at the end of the first quarter.
In the first minute of the second quarter, the Bison went for a field goal, and kicker Jacob Hahessy ‘26 completed it. The rest of the quarter, the team worked extremely hard, keeping their heads up after Reiker Wignes ’27 suffered a serious leg injury.
The First half ended 3-0 with the Bison in the lead.
Defensive lineman Trent Strome ‘26 captured a Hawks fumble in the end zone, giving the Bison their first touchdown. The second quarter featured another amazing play with Quarterback Grant Benson ‘26 passing to Jordan for a touchdown.
The third quarter ended 17-0 with the Bison holding the lead.
During the 4th quarter, Benson scored his fourth touchdown of the year, capping a strong night for the Bison on both ends of the ball.
