     On Saturday, May 16 the Bison Track and Field team hosted the Bison Youth meet. It was a fund raiser for the year to come and it was very successful. Kindergarten through sixth grade kids attended the meet in a variety of events. The meet ran the same way as a high school meet only with less kids and less events. Early this season the Bison Girl’s Varsity softball team struggled with five losses to good teams like Zimmerman , Becker, Spring Lake Park, Big Lake , and Shakopee. But after an eight game winning streak they quickly redeemed themselves and are now tied for first in the conference along with St. Micheal/Albertville and Becker. The Bison adapted softball team now has a record of six wins and seven loses. On Tuesday May 12 the Buffalo Bison lost to the Osseo Orioles 11 to 16. The game started with the Orioles getting four runs in the first inning and the Bison having none. The time has come again for all girls grades 9th-11th to show off their skills and tryout to be a 2009-2010 Buffalo High school cheerleader.  4 Clinics are being held before tryouts on April 27th-30th.  Tryouts will be held on May 4th and May 5th.  Girls trying out need only attend there designated day.   The girls will be learning 4 BHS cheers, and some basic cheerleading skills that will be needed for the tryout.   The will be three…

On April 23 Buffalo boy’s varsity tennis will be leaving the high school at 2:30 to compete in Rogers for 4:15.             On Tuesday April 21, 2009 The Bison Junior Varsity Track and Field team headed to St. Michael to compete against St. Michael, Monticello, and Princeton.
