On Thursday night the boys basketball team fought hard to beat the very good St. Cloud Tech team. Earlier this season they defeated Tech, which gave them a lot of confidence going into Thursday nights game. On Saturday, March 13, boys’ basketball beat the Elk River Elks with a score of 58-52 in the second round of Section games. They will be playing the St. Cloud Tech Tigers for the section title tonight (Thursday, March 18) at Halenbeck Hall on the SCSU campus. Last week, Buffalo’s swim team had 3 of their very own swimmers and divers make it to State. Senior Tanner Baumen, Junior Blake Solberg, and Maple Lake’s Junior David Zaske. The Boys’ Basketball team recently finished their regular season and emerged with the Mississippi Conference title. Their overall conference record was 15-1. The JV Girls’ Basketball team recently ended their season with an undefeated record of 21-0-0. On Tuesday February 24, the girls’ basketball team had a tough loss to Cambridge-Isanti. Cambridge is now 19-6 overall this season while the Bison girls are 20-5. The Boys’ hockey yeam ended regular season play last Saturday with a 6-0 loss to the number 1 AA ranked Minnetonka.
