At the Tuesday evening “Senior Night,” Boys Varsity Hockey game the Bison suffered a tough 2-3 loss to Princeton at the civic center. Haley Morningstar, the Bisons’ senior goaltender, has been nominated for the Let’s Play Hockey Senior Goalie of  the Year Award in the state of Minnesota. The Let’s Play Hockey Senior Goalie of the Year Award is presented to the top female senior goaltender in the state. Girls’ Gymnastics – both JV and varsity – competed in their last home meet against Minneapolis-Washburn Monday night. JV with a score of 108.65 to 95.65, and varsity with a score of 129.175 to 114.5. The second most points they racked up this season behind a score of 130. JV’s Noelle Zingelmann got first in all-around with a score 27.65. The Buffalo Bison girls hockey team won in thrilling fashion Tuesday night at Buffalo Civic Center over the North Wright County River Hawks. The win solidifies the conference title for the the Bison. The Bison tied against St Michael on Tuesday, January 25th at the Knights arena.  The Bison were one point behind all up until the third quarter when Aaron Rouse scored a goal the last 40 seconds which made the game proceed into overtime. The Buffalo Boys’ basketball team picked up a huge conference win over St. Michael – Albertville at home on Friday night. The Bison beat the Knights 65-52, in a rough battle to the end. The Bison lost 6-0 against Moorhead on Tuesday January 18.  At 11:30 in the morning the Boys’ Hockey team started their 3.5 hour journey up to Moorhead. They stopped in Alexandria for food and restroom, and arrived in Moorhead at 3:15. Buffalo had a strong performance Tuesday January 18, beating the Cambridge Blue Jackets 3-1. Sam Noetzelman scored the first goal in the first period. The Bison lead 1-0 after the 1st period.
