The former BHS Lacrosse prodigy Dallas Perkins transferred to Orono this year for the sole reason of lacrosse. The Buffalo Boy’s Lacrosse season started off with a bit of a slow start. With seven games down, the boys are 3-4 so far. Devan Dubnyk has done nothing but amaze since his arrival in the state of hockey with 31 consecutive starts, 24 wins, only 6 losses, and 5 shutouts. Buffalo has never blown away the State with its athletic programs. The school won its first athletic team State Title in 2007, beating Robbinsdale Armstrong in the class 4A basketball final. The girls basketball team played on Friday, January 27th at 7:15 p.m. at St. Francis. The Buffalo Bison had a great run this season. Our hope next year is the Girls Hockey team can pick up where they left off. In 2013 Cheerleading was cut from being school funded only to be replaced by two title nine equalizers, Boys Swim & Dive and Girls Dance Team. Since then there has been a small amount of tension between the recently school funded Cheerleading squad, and the new addition, Dance team.
