The Buffalo Boys Basketball team took the fourth-ranked Hopkins Royals to double overtime before losing 103-95 at Hopkins High School on Friday, February 7th. Senior Matthew Willert dominated with a school record-breaking 54 points. Willert broke his own 49-point record he set just a week earlier. The Buffalo Bison were in control the entire game. The Buffalo Bison varsity hockey team suffered a loss to the Wayzata Trojans Thursday night at the Buffalo Civic center. Going into the third period tied, the Bison gave up a goal with 11 minutes left and were never able to tie the game. Buffalo’s Girls Basketball Team faced off against Hopkins, the best program in the state, and Paige Bueckers on Friday, February 7. Bueckers is the top girls basketball recruit in the country according to ESPN and other sources.
