On Friday, March 5, head coach Josh Ortmann was given news that their games against Chanhassen (originally Monday, March 8th) and Benilde St. Margaret (originally Thursday, March 11th) were cancelled due to the teams having to take COVID-19 precautions. “Benilde and Chanhassen had COVID-related issues come up and need to take precautions. The Buffalo High School Boys Basketball team is one game away from the State Tournament as they will play the Maple Grove Crimson for the Section Championship for the third year in a row.
