Gorton and Jackson crowned Homecoming Royalty
Dubois and Kotish were named runners up at Coronation last night.
Jenner Gorton ‘27 and Quincey Jackson ‘27 were named Homecoming King and Queen at Coronation last night to kick off the 2026 Homecoming Week. Families and friends of the 16 candidates gathered at the Performing Arts Center (PAC) to see which of them would be crowned as Homecoming King and Queen. Ty Dubois and Courtney Kotish were the runners up.
All students could vote for the 16 candidates last week
Members of the 2026 Homecoming court include seniors Jocelyn Phillips, Reiker Wignes, Jackson, Charles Lefstad, Aubrie Guida, Gorton, Madeline Krinkie, Issac Ryder, Kotish, Cash Anonen, Anna Scherber, Dubouis, Sadie Scherber, Braxton Teschendorf, Payton Millerbernd, and Riley West.
The king and queen shared how they felt waiting for the reveal.
“I was so nervous, my heart was pounding,” Gorton said. “I prayed for the crown to be put on my head.”
“When I was sitting there,” Jackson said. “I was really nervous and my heart was pounding, it was very unexpected.”
