The home Bison boys and girls basketball,  double-header on Friday night resulted in victory for both teams. Although both teams were close at half, the girls lead the night with a 45-22 victory over Becker, and the boys’ followed with a 59-34 win. Friday also celebrated the seniors for both the boys and girls teams. Last weekend, February 25 & 26, the Boys’ Swim and Dive team participated in the Section 8AA meet in Alexandria. Prelims were on Friday and Finals were on Saturday. The Buffalo Bison Boys Hockey team finished their season Tuesday night with a loss to Moorhead in a section 8AAAA first round game. The Bison Boys’ Basketball team had a rough game against St. Michael-Albertville Tuesday night, resulting in a 45-41 loss. This was the third Conference game the boys had lost in the last 5 years. The Buffalo Girls’ hockey team had a dramatic overtime win last Saturday afternoon in the first round of sections against Wayzata to send them into the second round of sections on Wednesday night, where the Bison faced off against the Minnetonka Skippers for the second time this season.
