On Sunday, March 20th, Buffalo won their first Comedy Sportz competition against Hopkins with a final score of 29-24. This is the first year that Buffalo has participated in the Comedy Sportz High School League, and the first competition that they’ve won. The Buffalo High School Boys’ Basketball Team advanced to the section championship this season for the second consecutive year. The Bison faced off against the Maple Grove Crimson on Thursday, March 17 for the right to advance to the State High School Basketball Tournament. Chemistry teacher, Girls’ Tennis coach, and Boys’ Golf coach, Charley Keifenheim is preparing for the for the upcoming Golf season. “Each year, I have to make sure I know the new rules and regulations,” said Charley Keifenheim. “I also have to make sure we [boys Golf] have transportation and facilities to practice in.” This season is Keifenheim’s 11th year as a Varsity Boys Golf coach. The Bison Girls’ Basketball team finished their season with a loss at the AAAA State Tournament on March 16 at the Target Canter. ‎With a final score of 62- 79, Bison Basketball girls ended thier rewarding season, losing to the number-one ranked team in Minnesota, Hopkins.
