The Buffalo boy’s lacrosse team has been changing coaches in the recent years. They are adding middle school teacher, Jason Tornell, in the place of assistant coach. They are adding him because of the loss to the program of assistant coach, Louie Clifton. The rivalry between STMA and Buffalo is one that all students know about in all sports here at BHS. The Boys Varsity hockey team faced-off against the St.Michael-Albertville Knights in the Mississippi 8 Conference Championship game played on Saturday February 9th. Junior Isaac Basten is a runner, involved in Cross Country and Track. The Girl’s Golf team has been very successful this spring season, just as they were last year. There have been many new recruitments this year, some who have golfed before, and some who have not. The Badgers, Buffalo’s recreational soccer team, have been dominating Recreational Soccer, with the 21 players from the Buffalo Area continuing their perfect season with no losses. Recently, the Varsity golf boys had a meet in Annandale at Southbrook Golf Club. The boys captured the win behind Juniors River Goodmanson and Nate Persson, along with Sophomores Walter Ylitalo and Joe Carothers.
