The State-ranked Buffalo Girls’ Basketball team continued cruising Tuesday night at home, crushing the Rogers Royals 60-43. The win improves the Bison to an overall record of 9-1, and moves them into a first place tie with St. Michael-Albertville at the top of the Mississippi 8 conference with a record of 4-0. Science teacher Kip Wold has given up old-fashioned overheads in favor of PowerPoints. He started converting overhead slides into PowerPoints at the beginning of the second term and is still going strong. The 33 members of Buffalo’s winter Drumline practiced eight hours a day, four days straight over winter break to get ready for their season. The Herd Drumline is instructed by TJ Larum and includes 30 high school students and 3 eighth graders. The camp was held at the BAC at Buffalo High School over winter break. Buffalo Bison Boy’s Basketball team went on the road on Saturday and beat the St. Cloud Tech Tigers 62-55. The Bison have fell short against the Tigers in the past three seasons, two of which were in the Section final games. Buffalo High School’s juniors and seniors in Concert Choir and Concert Band are preparing for the Minnesota Music Educators Association (MMEA). Last year’s Concert Choir made this possible by recording a CD and submitting it to the organization. Only the top schools who made CDs were invited to perform.
