Girls Soccer Falls in Tough Battle Against Blaine

The team fell 0-1 to the Bengals

The Buffalo Bison Girls Soccer Team traveled to Blaine to play on Tuesday. They suffered a 0-1 loss after a high intensity game between the two teams.

Going into the game, the Buffalo Bison were 4-5 and looking for a non-Conference, non-Section win. The Bengals scored 20 minutes into the first half, giving them a 1-0 lead. The Bison fought back hard and came into the second half with high intensity looking for a goal to tie the game.

“The stakes were high and we all had a goal scoring mentality in the second half” said Gracie Alderman ‘26.

Emma Marzean ‘26 was a key player in last night’s game, making a huge save and keeping the Bengals from scoring in the last 5 minutes.

The Buffalo Girls Soccer Team will take on the Minnetonka Skippers Thursday night at 7 pm on the turf.
