Bison Girls Lacrosse Eliminates Big Lake in Playoff Action

The Bison Girls Lacrosse Team advances to Section Eight Semifinals with a 22-3 win over the Big Lake Huskies

Last Thursday afternoon, the Bison Girls Lacrosse team hosted Big Lake in the Section 8 Quarterfinal game, resulting in a huge win for the Bison. 

Big Lake started off the game scoring the first goal, followed by Calista Weiche ‘27 making a quick comeback in the game with a hat trick with just over six minutes left in the first quarter. 

Throughout the game, the Bison stayed strong with impressive goals made by leading scorers, Daneka Eng ‘27 (three goals), Jasmine Jorgensen ‘28 (four), Adellita Nelson (four), and Calista Weiche ‘27 (four). 

While the Huskies pushed to make a comeback in the second half, coming away with two goals, the Bison pushed back, resulting in some first varsity goals for players. Macy Hallman ‘27 walked away from the game with her first and second varsity goals, DeLana Taylor ‘28 with her first varsity goal, and Lydia Wurm ‘30 with her own. 

Finishing the game off, the Bison Girls Lacrosse Team came away with a 22-3 win over the Big Lake Huskies. With the number one seed placement, Bison Girls Lacrosse advance to the Section 8 Semifinal game tonight against Brainerd in hopes of continuing their record season.
