April is Autism Awareness Month at Buffalo High School.  This year, students who are in Students Stepping Up, (SSU) are helping create awareness within the school. Amidst a sea of protesters on Wednesday March 9, a bill was passed that revokes the right for union in Wisconsin to collectively bargain. Collective bargaining is a group or unions right to bargain wages, contracts, and other occupation terms. With the bill passed unions will only be able to bargain up to living wages. This summer, Spanish Students from Buffalo High School are taking a once-in-a-life-time chance, trip to Spain.  Señora nancy Eiynck and Señor Daryl Boeckers are taking 17 students in 10-12th grade to Spain in June.  The trip costs $3,000, but is well worth the money.  They will tour Spain, exploring the culture, eating the food, and learning to interact using a different language. The Buffalo High School Boys’ Basketball Team advanced to the section championship this season for the second consecutive year. The Bison faced off against the Maple Grove Crimson on Thursday, March 17 for the right to advance to the State High School Basketball Tournament.
