On March 3rd, the girl’s basketball team defeated Alexandria in their first round of sections. In a close game, Buffalo came up on top with a 75-70 win. Earlier in the season the team lost by 17 points, so their recent win came as a surprise. The leading scorer for the Bison was Senior Miranda Speckle with 24 points. On Saturday, February 28 the Bison Boys Hockey Team played the Moorhead Spuds at the SCSU arena in St. Cloud. The Bison had previously defeated the Brainerd Warriors on Tuesday, February 24 to advance to the second round in Section Playoffs.
