On June 3, 2010 outside of the Performing Arts Center at BHS from 6:15-7:00, you can participate in the eleventh annual ceramic bowl silent auction. All of the proceeds will go to the Vision, Strength, and Access (VSA) arts on Minnesota. This is a non-profit group, founded in 1986, that supports the arts for individuals with disabilities. The Buffalo Knowledge Bowl team took eighth place at the State Tournament, held at Cragun’s Conference Center in Brainerd, Minnesota. This was the program’s ninth year going to state. On Thursday April 22 in the PAC the ELL students will be telling their stories through their artwork. The presentation will include talking suitcases that will contain objects to tell their stories of struggles and accomplishments as a minority student. The students began the Talking Suitcase project towards the end of third quarter. They also began writing papers about their expectations, challenges, opportunities, and achievements.
