On Tuesday, May 18, the 26th annual Nick Miller Academic Luncheon was held at the Evangelical Free Church.  This lucheon is held to recognize all of the hard work of the Presidential Award Recipients put in throughout their high school careers. On Thursday, May 13, the Buffalo Boy’s and Girl’s Varsity Track teams attended a meet in Fargo, North Dakota. The meet was set to take place at the Concordia-Moorhead campus but was moved due to field renovation. The Green Team at Buffalo High School collected 50 pairs of shoes for the Nike Reuse-A-Shoe organization last week. Students were asked to bring in old athletic shoes to be recycled into gym floors, playground materials, and synthetic tracks. The shoes were brought to the Albertville Nike store to be sent off for recycling. The recycling process uses a “slice-and-grind” technique where each shoes is cut into three slices.
