After having three different coaches in the past year, new coach Benjamin Wandmacher and the boy’s wrestling program hope to have a successful season. The Bison Volleyball team won the first round of sections against New Prague with scores of 25-14, 24-26,23-25,25-14, and 15-13 last night. After winning the first game, the team dropped the next two, putting them one loss away from elimination. Last night, boys Cross Country runners shaved their heads in preparation for their section meet in Hutchinson at 4:00 this afternoon. Fourteen teams will be competing tonight, Senior runner Dan Pettit has assumed that Buffalo will take second. The Varisty Football team’s season ended with a 28-34 loss to St. Could Tech in the opening round of the Section tournamet Tuesday night. “Everyone was really pumped for the game,” said Junior Dan Hanson,”We had a couple bad plays and missed a few tackles, but overall it was still a pretty exciting game.” The team’s record for the year was 2-9. They entered their final game as the sevent of eight seeds in the tournament.
