The Buffalo Community Middle School has just announced that they have selected a new assistant principal, Jeff Erickson. He was a previous 7th grade science teacher at BCMS, but is currently serving as Dean of Students/Science Teacher at Annandale Middle School. Erickson with replace the current assistant principal, Matt Lubben, who will be the new BCMS Principal. Both positions will start July 1st to start preparing for the 2011-2012 school year. FFA members at BHS participated in the state convention on May 1-3 which was held at the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities. For most Seniors at Buffalo High School, school ends on June 9, but for some students school is already out. Through PSEO (Post Secondary Enrollment Options) some students are able to take college classes through a university instead of a typical high-school class. The Buffalo Bison Boys Lacrosse team lost to MontiQuois Wednesday May 5, with a  final score of 11-2 The Bison came out strong playing neck in neck with MontiQuois and only down by one after the first Quarter.
