The 29th annual High School Art competition and Exhibition kicked off last night at the Paramount Theatre in St. Cloud. High School students around the state enter their artwork from detailed paintings and watercolor to sculpture or Ceramic peices. Every day after school about 6-10 students drive to the Buffalo Civic Center just as they would any other day during hockey season. On Monday, April 6, from 1:20 until 2:20 all freshmen sophomores and juniors went to their assigned room to review for their MCA test and well they did that all seniors were able to leave. On Saturday April 4, the Buffalo Bison Track and Field team competed in the University of Minnesota indoor meet. The Bison were one of almost 30 teams and overall they did very well. Out of the 18 schools that were at Thursdays Knowledge Bowl meet, only 5 made it to state. Including Buffalo. The first round was the written round, only five people from each team answered the 60 multiple choice questions. They all had 50 minutes to finish the questions, and when time is up they turned them in to the coaches to be scored.
