Today, March 21, is World Down Syndrome Day. For many people, this day probably doesn’t have much meaning. But to freshman Grace Borgerding and her family, today is a celebration of her little brother, Finn. The 19-month-old has Down syndrome, and Grace wouldn’t change a thing about him. Science Teacher Hygrell’s biology class has an assignment where students skin a tiny squirrel and turn it into a skin doll. Don’t believe me?
