After 40 years of dedicating his life to teaching, Science Teacher Boyd Emmel has made the decision to retire. Emmel has spent his years teaching in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and at BHS. In the spring, many people of the Christian faith practice Lent. Beginning on Ash Wednesday, they give up a commodity of their life (such as soda or junk food) and also don’t eat meat on Fridays for six weeks until Maundy Thursday.
