Boys’ Soccer Remains Undefeated After Comeback Win at Rogers

The Bison improved to 9-0-4 before a major test against Minnetonka.

Buffalo Boys Soccer Team remains undefeated after a 2-1 win on Rogers’ home field last night.

Rogers put up a fight by taking the 1-0 lead in the first 3 minutes of the game. Buffalo responded quickly, Reid Poser ‘28 tied the game with a corner kick rebound to go into the second half tied 1-1.

In the second half, Owen Seastrom ‘27 scored the game-winning goal with a header assisted by Cade Nissen ‘27, to win the game. Buffalo dominated this game with 80-20% possession, and relied on a solid defensive performance, to hold off the Royals in the last few minutes, with Gerhard Ungaro ‘28, in net, holding the Royals (7-2-1) to one goal.

“We went into the game with a lot of confidence,” Saul Rhodes ’26 said, “but we knew Rogers would put up a fight and it would be a tough game.”

Buffalo went into this game with a 9-0-3 overall record and a 3-0-2 Lake Conference record, ranking them second in Minnesota for boys soccer according to the most recent coaches’ poll.

The Bison Boys Soccer Team hopes to continue their undefeated record by taking the win against the 11-2 Minnetonka Skippers this thursday on Buffalo’s home field. This will be a big match for the Bison to determine ranking for Sections and continue their strong momentum into the rest of the season and the post season.
