The Bison Competitive Cheerleading Team competed at the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, Florida from February 8-12. The dream teams’ season came to a crashing halt when they faced the Minnetonka Skippers two nights ago at Parade Ice Garden in Minneapolis. The Bison ended their season with a successful 20-7 record. February second kicked off the 13th annual Pat Sonju Memorial Game in honor of celebrating Pat Sonju, a father, husband, coach, and teacher of Buffalo High School. Last night, Boy’s Hockey traveled to Cambridge in hope of clinching their first Mississippi 8 conference championship in five years, and they did exactly that. The Girls’ Hockey team is on fire, and their 20-6 record proves it. Section 6AA will test their skill. With two games left in the year, boy’s hockey already has three more wins than last season. After losing to the Monticello Magic on February 2, they have five wins and two losses in conference and are currently in first. The last time that they won conference was in 2009.
