Wrestlers left for state Wednesday, March 4th with high hopes on taking home a state title. Captains David Baker, Timmy Ruter, and Zach Smithmade it far but only Smithwas able to place. On Friday, March 6 Smithsplit his matches in half with one win and one loss making him eligible to place the next day. On Saturday Zach was scheduled to wrestle at noon against Ali Muhammed from Burnsville. The match was close and ended with a score of 4-3. Overall Zach placed sixth in the tournament.
