Trashed books can be your treasure – Free books around BHS

What happens when a book becomes outdated or is needed to be discarded to provide new room in the library? Well, luckily they aren’t destroyed, but just sit on a convenient shelf waiting for a new owner. From replaced textbooks to basic literature, you never know what you may find inside! Just a pile of books chosen at random can yield something you never knew existed. One odd but interesting book found is Freeway Warrior, the first (of a four part) role playing game book series, set as a choose-your-own adventure in Post-Apocalyptic America.  You could find plays, such as Edward Albee’s The American Dream, and The Zoo Story. Vocab books, previous editions of The Pegasus Literary Arts Magazine, and novels are more than common. But hey, if your into western novels, science books or maybe need to get a lesson from a book on journalism, then it will definitely be worth your time to check out one of the shelves in the nearby English resource areas. Who knows, maybe if  you look hard enough, there could be something in there that perfectly fits you.
