To Paint or Not to Paint, That is the Question
Anyone who has gone through the back entrance of the high school has seen the two smallish boulders that reside upon the lawn. After years of being caked in spray paint, it is a common joke to say that most of the boulder’s size is made of the residual spray paint of previous painters. The twin boulders sit there to be painted upon by anyone who feels they have a need to do such. Unfortunately, with Spanish Teacher Durand Onell’s memorial occupying the rock, no one wants to paint over it and inadvertently hurt someone. With the amount of groups that go out towards the end of the year to paint celebrations of their accomplishments, every group wants to be the first group to paint on the rock.
