Buffalo High School has been a comfort zone for all students that have come and gone though its school system. It focuses on teaching the students all the necessary materials that they will need to succeed in college, life, and anything else that they choose to embark on. With graduation quickly approaching, Seniors are coming to the realization that the sheltered walls of high school will soon be coming to an end, and the real world reality is being to set in.
“My entire senior year has been the best part of high school,” stated senior Chantel Purrier “I’ve got to spend time with people that I’ve know for years. And feeling connected though things like the last football game, the last homecoming, all of the last things that we would do in high school, would be done together.”
High School is a time for people to create friendships, relationships, and memories that will last a life time. From basketball games, to school dances, it’s a time that is spent with friends, that wont soon be forgotten.
“The best part of high school to me, was winning the boys basketball state championship game sophomore year,” said senior Brock Korbel “We were all there, together watching history be made. Nothing could top that.”
With high school coming to an end, seniors face life changing decisions about college, work, leaving behind the things that they have come accustomed to and the friends that they have made thought the years of grade school.
“It didn’t matter where we were, or what we were doing,” said senior Melissa Miller “We always managed to have a good time, and make lasting memories in the process.”
As high school is coming to a sudden stop for seniors, they are being faced with many difficult goodbyes with friends, family and teachers that have formed them in to the young adults they are today. However, they are truly ready to start the next chapter in their lives, and embark on new advantures and create new friendships that will be as life changing as the ones they made in high school.
