Senior Girls Win Powderpuff Game

The Brevsherderz came out on top over the 67 Yard Dashers in the annual tradition.

The senior powderpuff team got the win Sunday night at Bentfield against the junior team in the championship game. 0.Both teams competed until the end but the juniors fell short by a few touchdowns.

At 7 p,m under the lights, the two junior teams faced off with the two senior teams doing the same the next field over.

Earlier in the night, the K-9 Unit took the win 14-7 against the 6 Sendys, while the senior teams brought it into overtime. The Brevsherderz came out on top over the 67 yard dashers with a score of 14-7.

“I’m happy the Brevsherderz won, I was hoping I would be able to play my senior friends and it was definitely a fun experience,” said Matea Ellis ‘27.

Other high school fans along with parents were able to come watch their friends and kids play their classmates in a friendly game of two handed touch.

“Even though the game might not have been 100% fair, it was 100% fun,” said Reiker Wignes ‘27.

The Juniors are already excited for next year when they get to play the class of 2028.
