Recap Of How Spring Sports Teams Finished Their Seasons
The Bison had a successful spring when it came to competing
Baseball
Baseball Played Rogers in section play and won, but lost to st.Michael 0-4 to end their season. Their record was 11-9.
Softball
Softball will be making an appearance at state for the 4th year in a row. They play in Mankato on Thursday and Friday of this week. There will be a fan bus for students who want to attend on Thursday.
Golf
Boys Golf wrapped up their season in Coldspring, they placed 5th in their Section. Girls Golf will also be heading to state for the 4th year in a row. Their tee times start at 7:30 on Tuesday June 12th at the Bunker Golf course.
Lacrosse
Girls lacrosse beat St. Michael in the first round of section play and then defeated Monticello in overtime. They faced the Maple Grove Crimson on Wednesday for the section championship game and lost 6-9. Ending their season 13-2. This is the best season Bison girls lacrosse has ever had. Boys lax beat Sartell in their first section game. They then played Elk River and came up short. Their ending record was 8-4.
Boys Tennis
Boys tennis ended their season 7-8. They played individual sections and nobody was able to advance to state.
Track and Field
A few of the Track and Field top runners will be competing at state. In the 4×400 Amanda Montplaisir, Alexis O’Malley, Lauren Feddema, and Emma Latcham-Reiter. In the 4×800 Braden Benson, Alexei Hensel, Travis Scotting, and Isaac Basten. Alexis O’Malley will also be competing in the 800 and Amanda Montplaisir will be running the 1600. Isaac Basten will run the 3200.
