With prom coming up Saturday May 7 the junior class cabinet has been working endless hours on creating a memorable night for their classmates. They’ve been meeting every week since early in the fall, and now they’re meeting as much as possible. The Junior class cabinet consists of: Erika Doimer, Angela Eastlund, Leeza Kennedy, Samantha Paripovich, Blair Solberg, Hanna Svobada.
“This years prom theme is Can’t Fight the Moonlight. It took us a while to pick it, but when we found the one we wanted we all agreed right away,” said Kennedy.
Besides deciding on a theme, a lot of other work goes into planning prom. Recently, the biggest job that they have been working on is making decorations for Grand March.
“We all work well with each other, so it hasn’t been too stressful for us,” Solberg stated, “we’ve already started putting decorations together.”
All of their hard work will come together on Saturday May 7 in the BHS gym at 4:00 pm for Grand March, students can arrive for pictures at 2:30. The dance will be held at the St. Cloud Civic Center from 9pm-midnight.
“Our goal is classy and elegant. I think we’re going to capture it well,” Solberg said.
