Mock Trial Receives a Shocking Sneak Peek of Their 40th season
The team will take on a dramatic case
Buffalo High School Mock Trial got a rare sneak peek of their exciting murder case for their upcoming 40th anniversary season beginning in October.
Since the team’s whole case doesn’t come out until later this fall, getting a sneak peek now is pretty exciting. Adler Neu ‘26, about to start her junior season, is optimistic about the team’s success despite a shift in the teams.
“Last year’s case was pretty boring, so I think we’re all ready for something exciting,” Neu said. “We did graduate a lot of seniors this year and then three more of our best players left for an exchange year in Germany. So there’s a lot of shifting on the teams [Varsity 1 and 2], but regardless it’s going to be a fun season.”
Traditionally, Mock Trial cases, which are the same in schools across the country, alternate between civil (state vs state) and criminal (person vs person) cases. But, in addition to the rare early sneak peek and the exciting murder case, there are two seasons with civil cases happening in a row.
Buffalo High School will kick off its 40th anniversary season in late October.
