Knowledge Bowl Prepares for Season Debut
Buffalo will host 41 teams at the very first regional meet of the season
Thirty-four varsity teams and eighteen JV teams will compete at the first Knowledge Bowl meet of the season. Buffalo will bring five varsity and three JV teams.
Ben Diethelm ‘25 is excited for the season. This is Deithelm’s fourth year competing in Knowledge Bowl. This year’s season will be shorter than in previous years, which will be nice for students like him who compete in spring sports.
“I’m looking forward to hanging out with people I don’t usually hang out with, and people that are in different grades,” Diethelm said. “The competition is fun.”
Some returning players have individual goals coming into this season.
“I’d like to improve my accuracy on the questions,” Diethelm said. “I’ve taken a lot of math classes so I hope I get more math questions right.”
Both new and returning players are excited to kick off the season with the first meet, on Saturday, January 4th at BHS.
