Junior Class Cabinet is pleased with feedback from Prom

Junior Class Cabinet’s (JCC) preparations, and hours spent on the behind-the-scenes set up for Prom have paid off through peer feedback. Not only did the six girls of JCC go through, and experience the event they planned firsthand, they also heard the impression it made on friends and classmates.

Svoboda met for a follow-up meeting on how the evening went on Monday. The group discussed what they had heard going around school throughout the day.

“Most people, overall, had a good time,” said Doimer. “We weren’t so impressed with the actual venue [St. Cloud Community Center], but I think everyone enjoyed the dance otherwise.”

The addition of a photo booth this year was potentially a risk, but ended in a success for all involved.

“The [photo] booth got used,” said Kennedy. “There was pretty much a line the whole time, and people left with great photos.”

As a whole, the group was impressed with the lack of negative comments, and there were no big issues during the night.

“Buffalo High Schoolers follow the rules,” said Advisor Tracy Hulley. “I don’t know if it’s because of the administration, but they know the rules and that’s why we can pull off such a successful prom.”
