Girls soccer win over Waconia!
The Buffalo Girls Varsity Soccer Team took on the Waconia Wildcats on Saturday September 26th and had a great win with an ending score of 2-1. With in a few starting minutes of the game, getting it on its feet the Waconia Wildcats has scored the first goal. Bison keeping up there spirit and playing with there smart intention kept the score at 1-0 for quite some time. Towards the end of the first half Junior Shana Roberts had scored there first goal for the Bison, tying it 1-1.
“Once they scored the first goal I was a bit nervous. They were a very good team, and passed the ball well and quick. But I had no doubt in my mind we could still pull a win off, just have to play hard,” said Junior Courtney Daniels.
Going into the second half the Bison take on full force with the way the game had been going, aggression being thrown from both teams. With a few players getting a yellow card, the Bison still fought there fight with good attitudes as well as good intentions. During the second half Junior Courtney Daniels had scored the Bisons second goal of the game putting them in the lead 2-1. The Bison held the Wildcats till the last second of the game bringing home a great victory.
