The #2-ranked Bison beat Moorhead 6-1 behind three goals from Courtney Kotish
On the first night of Sections, the #2 Buffalo Bison Girls Soccer Team took home a win, beating the #7 Moorhead Spuds 6-1 on Bison Field West last night. The Bison’s first 3 goals were scored by Courtney Kotish ’27, followed by Jeanette Bermudez , Sophie Alerman ’26, and Katherine Donlan ’27.
With Kotish scoring one after another, she ended her hat trick with a back flip. When half time hit the Bison were confident and ready to play hard in the second half, securing their spot in the section semi-finals.
“We just have to come out hard on Saturday and play our game,” said Gracie Alderman ‘26.
