Eight weeks ago at the Brainerd pre-sections, Bison Girls Cross Country came in second place with two top-ten finishes: Ella Broadhead and Cady Macheel. The results boosted confidence in the potential of the 2024 season.
“The season is going well for the team,” Captain Miley Farniok ’25 said. “We all help each other out, have a very positive outlook for the season, and continue taking our smaller steps towards our big goal.”
Team members have been excited about the season’s potential as it extends.
“I know that [the season] is going well,” Debuting varsity runner Rose Lamberts ‘26 said. “We’re working together and pushing each other to PR and go farther than we think we can.”
The team has a lot of chemistry and has supported and pushed each other for this meet. Thursday’s Section meet wraps up the season, so there is a lot of stress and excitement to see how far they’ve come. The team is ready to see how all their hard work will pay off.
