Monday, September 28, was the second gathering of FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes. A group of around 40 members gathered to Senior Cody Lings’ house at 7:30 to listen to the word of God.
A few songs of gospel started off the night, with Juniors Nina Downer and Michael LaCroix on guitar.
Seniors Kane Nelson, and Erik Star came prepared with a speech of their testimonies.
“I think overall last nights speeches were really good and easy for others to relate to,” says Olivia Haggerty. “Because we were being spoken to from someone of our ages.”
Both came together for the sermon and lesson of the night; scriptures from Romans, Matthew, James and 1 Corinthians were read to complete the sermon for the night.
A youtube.com Lifehouse video followed the speaking of our fellow classmates, Nelson and Star. Ending the night with a word of prayer was Star.
