Today, the end of the quarter, was actually supposed to be next Thursday for the student body, but for the teachers it’s Friday. Some students will miss the classes they are in, for the last time, today.
Recently Mark Mischke was asked why the end of the quarter ends today, he said “We would have had the quarter end next week, but that would have unbalanced the rest of the quarters, this quarter would have been 8 or 9 days longer.”
For some students it would have been beneficial if they’re behind in their class, some are wishing that they had some more time to get their work done. “If I would have had next week to do my late work, I wouldn’t have had to rush my work, it would have been better, and I wouldn’t have been stuck with the average grade that i am left with.” said Senior Cody Smallwood.
It would have bee nice for us to have next week to be the end of the quarter for students to get their late work done, handed in and increase their lower grade(s).
