The Buffalo Community Book Read will take place on May 15 at BHS. The entire community is invited to the event, which will include a guest speaker and small-group discussions of the graphic novel Persepolis.
Registration will from 5:45 to 6 p.m., and the speaker will begin in the Media Center at 6 p.m.. The speaker will be Sanam Ghandehari. She is currently at the University of Minnesota getting her masters in the effects of diversity on organizational culture and outcomes. After Ghandehari is done, participants will break into small group discussions from 7 to 8p.m..
Books are available at the BHS Media Center, Book Break, Buffalo Books, and Buffalo Public Library.
