Boys Soccer Remains Undefeated After Battle with #1 Ranked Minnetonka
The two powerhouse programs battled to a 1-1 tie
The Bison Varsity Soccer Team faced off against the Minnetonka Skippers last night in a clash between the top two teams in Minnesota. The Bison proved they belonged among the state’s elite programs by staying undefeated and battling to a 1-1 tie against the #1 ranked Skippers.
Both teams filled the stands with their fans, and both teams came ready to play, adding to the high energy of the match.
Minnetonka being the number one seed in the state, and the Buffalo Bison as the number two, high energy was bound to occur. Ten minutes into the game, Cade Nissen ‘27 scored, leaving the Bison on the winning side of a 1-0 score at half. However, with almost fifteen minutes left in the game, Minnetonka snuck a goal in, ending the game with a final score of 1-1, a tie.
Although the Boys Varsity didn’t win this match, they still remain undefeated and 9-0-4 and look forward to their next match on September 30 at home at 7pm against the Hopkins Royals.
