With a record of 1-2 Bison start off their season with a slow start. On Tuesday April 14th the Bulldogs defeated the Bison by the score of 1-5. Although the girls only had 1 run, they had 25 at bats.
“Tuesdays game was not the greatest because for one we lost, but we also were not playing our best,” said Senior Dani Iverson. “But for the season I think we will do decent, we just really need to focus on playing hard.”
Junior Courtney Jude was the Bison’s only scorer against the Bulldogs, but Hanna Rohl also got a hit. With their offense in short supply the girls are hoping to kick it up a notch.
“That pitcher was really fast, we just couldn’t get hits off of her,” said Iverson “We need to step up our offense in order to be able to stay in the game.”
The Bison’s next game is tonight away against Spring Lake Park. Hopefully the girls can bring home a victory.
