Ballers in Paris Take Home the Fun Night Volleyball Crown

The Ballers in Paris won the annual Volleyball Fun Night Tournament on Friday night. The team contained seniors Wyatt Anderson, Gavin Johnson, Charlie Rosso, Parker Youngquist, Jace Peterson, Grady Grossman, Brevan Schauer, Danika Rosenau Evalynn Mahr. The event was the culmination of Homecoming’s Fun Night, which included games, movies, snacks. Many teams gathered in the BAC to hopefully take bragging rights over their fellow classmates.

As many students gathered in the gym warming up at their court, to see all the fun jerseys the teams had put together. With teams getting knocked out left and right, there were only two teams left fighting for the championship.

Ballers in Pairs faced off against the Six Seven, a sophomore team. They played each other with many students watching. As the game was played, there was lots of cheering and celebrating. At the end of the tournament the Ballers in Pairs won the game.

Coach Yosemar Velez ‘28 of the Six Seven team said, “ Even though we came out short we will be back next year.”
